Clinical Supervision

In addition to counseling and career services, Mahogany Counseling & Consulting, LLC provides clinical supervision for Pennsylvania's Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensure.
For LPC supervision, supervisees need to have two hours of supervision for every 40 hours of clinical work.

One (1) hour of individual supervision and;

One (1) hour of group supervision

Therefore, if the supervisee is working in the field full-time, the supervisee is expected to participate in at least eight (8) hours a month/

Clinical Supervision entails:

Processing the supervisee's experience (both professionally and personally)

Reviewing cases

Developing theoretical approaches

Developing clinical counseling skills

Establishing professional development goals within the field

Dr. Robinson is an experienced approved clinical supervisor with over 300+ hours of training in clinical supervision of master’s-level counseling students in clinical mental health and school counseling practicums and internships. In addition to her doctoral work, Dr. Robinson has taught numerous practicum and internship supervision courses for master’s level (addictions and clinical mental health) and doctoral level (counselor education) students. Collectively, Dr. Robinson has been providing clinical supervision since 2012.
The State limits the number of supervisees a supervisor can supervise for licensure. Currently, we have four (4) spots available for supervisees who need both individual and group supervision. If you are interested in clinical supervision, please complete the Clinical Supervision Inquiry form.
